Hi, I’m Jane and I’m an independent celebrant.
I’m a fully qualified and professional independent celebrant based just outside Edinburgh.

MY STORY
I worked in Recruitment in Financial Services for many years but latterly had a desire to re-train and work as a celebrant.
This came about when I engaged a celebrant to conduct my mum’s funeral in 2017. He was amazing. His approach was calm, compassionate and professional, and he helped guide us step by step through the process – taking a great weight off my shoulders and giving my mum a lovely send-off. The idea of being able to provide practical help and support to people at such a difficult time immediately appealed to me, which is why I decided to re-train.
My approach
I am qualified to perform ceremonies for all life’s celebrations. I feel passionate about delivering ceremonies with warmth and humour (where agreed with you and where appropriate) and ones that truly reflect the individuals they’re all about.
Away from work, I spend time with my 3 English Setter rescue dogs. I run (jog / shuffle) most days, walk every day and can be often found on golf courses and tennis courts.
I really want to be a cold-water swimmer but, in reality, I only manage a dip on the hottest of days! I am the proud mum of Ollie, who is currently studying at St Andrews University.
